ABASA response to COVID-19

Our players’ health is our first priority. We have been advised by NCASA to temporarily halt all adult soccer programming, following suit of many major professional athletic organizations, youth sports organizations, and college athletics around the nation. As of today (Thurs. March 12) we will be suspending all ABASA games.
Because of the COVID-19, we would like to postpone all games until, at the earliest, April 1. The week of April 1, we will reach out to the league in order to reevaluate the situation and provide more information about how we plan to finish out our season. As of right now, our plan is to extend the spring season, not shorten the season. However, we will have a better idea of how to move forward in the next couple of weeks.
I am sorry about this inconvenience. I know that at times like this, we especially need our soccer community and the opportunity to play the beautiful game. I hope that we will be able to pick up the season in the very near future.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact me at bell.felice@gmail.com, or reach out to your division reps.
Thank you for your time. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

Felice Lopez Bell (ABASA President)
